They’re back ! This LP, recorded this winter at the Catapulte headquarters, is a new set of pop tunes with fuzzy basslines, loony drumbeats and exotic organs. The duet also sing, shout and mistreat
their tambourines. Each copy is hand painted by talented young artists; for those who aren't modern enough to own a tape
player, the album includes a mp3 digital download - shame on you (&
on us!).

Pissinboy
was originally Italian artist Andrea Pirovano's solo project; it became
a duet when Graham Mushnik joined him a year ago. Based in London, the
band presents here four 3-chord harmonious scruntch-pop songs they
recorded in their basement. While the EP kicks off with a punchy
minimal drum-guitar track, "Always Find You", it ends in a mellow mood
of trumpet and choir. Pirovano's songwriting is simple and strong, and
Mushnik is unstoppable.

First
opus of a rather dancefloor oriented series of split 7 inches, this
"joust" confronts the work of Luke Warmcop (member of Guess What and
Patrickbruel) and Graham Mushnik (a.k.a. Teen Axel, member of Guess
What, Helium & Eggs, Curlee Wurlee!, Slow Slushy Boys...). Two
instrumental pieces, combining abstract hip-hop, Italian spooky
soundtracks, funk and latin beats.

Three
years ago, somewhere in the French Alps, Graham Mushnik, Luke Warmcop
and Juste Akiss gathered around organs and computers. Starting up with
dadaist hip hop and experimental electro, they founded Catapulte
Records and moved to London. This CD presents three of their recent
live projects: Guess What (instrumental organ-drums based outer-space
spooky jazz), Patrickbruel (Noisy prehistoric folk theatre) and Helium
& Eggs (silly joyful pop songs with surfy tambourines).
