Graham Mushnik was born in 1985 in a family of musicians and soon decided to learn how to play the piano, as his love for music was becoming more and more obsessional.
Also known as "Teen Axel", he has played in The Slow Slushy Boys and B-Soul Allstars. When he met Luke Warmcop and Juste Akiss, he formed Guess What and Helium & Eggs, and started his solo project as Graham Mushnik.
Now established in London, he has released one LP (A Distant Wildlife) and 2 singles; but his live appearances are rare. Since 2008, he also plays in the bands Pissinboy and Curlee Wurlee!.
Among his favourite artists are Lalo Schifrin, John Barry, Sun Ra, The Zombies, Black Ox Orkestar, Asha Bhosle, The Daktaris, Lee Dorsey, Lee Fields, Serge Gainsbourg, Half Japanese, Thee Cybermen, Ennio Morricone, Edan, De La Soul, Syd Barrett, the Jam, the Meters, the Television Personalities, Tom Waits, Captain Beefheart, the Kinks, Sohail Rana, Daniel Johnston.
